About Us

Storage Drop was established in 2020 following a split of SWAP Technologies (2015-2020).
The company has completed a merger with a public shell in July 2021 and currently employs 30 workers and service providers.

The technologies developed by Storage Drop are:

  • HyDrop for power generation coupled with renewable energy (solar, wind) facilities to produce electricity at peak demand. HyDrop is based on isothermal compression of air with water in liquid pistons.
  • CoolDrop for production of cold, based on compression of environmentally friendly gas, providing a comprehensive solution for the industrial refrigeration market
  • DropX, an air compressor based on liquid piston with air compressed by water at high efficiency.

Gad Eisenkot - Chairman

Holds a B.A. in General History from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Political Science from the University of Haifa.

Eisenkot, the 21st Chief of Staff, served in the position from 2015 to 2019. He was appointed as director at Tzur Shamir Holdings and Villar. In addition, Mr. Eisenkot joined the Institute for National Security Studies as a senior research fellow.

Yona Fogel - Vice Chairman

Holds a master’s degree in psychology, specializing in organizational consulting. He completed his military service as a military psychologist with the rank of major.

Served for 13 years as CEO of Paz Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of its subsidiaries. Prior to that, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of Bank Leumi and head of the Banking Division. Today, Fogel deals, among other things, with international energy projects.

Shay Cohen - CEO

B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion. He has extensive experience in designing and developing renewable energy systems. During his career, he served in senior positions at Bright Source Energy, Intel and Swap Technologies – Energy Storage.

Zvika Even - Capital market and Finance

B.A. in Economics and MBA. 20+ years of experience in the Israeli capital market Owner of a company for finance management services and personalized accounting, accompanying companies in the process of purchasing and selling business activities and companies.

Jose Barak - Business Development

B.A. and M.A. in Mechanical Engineering, and for the past decade served as VP International Business Development of Braitsurs Energy. He has extensive experience in international renewable energy business activities in the US, China, Europe and more.

תואר ראשון בכלכלה ותואר שני במנהל עסקים.בעל ניסיון רב בשוק ההון הישראלי. בעלים של חברה לשירותי ניהול כספים וחשבות בהתאמה אישית לחברות קטנות ובינוניות,ליווי חברות בתהליכי רכישה ומכירה של פעילויות עסקיות וחברות.

ג׳וזה ברק - פיתוח עסקי בינלאומי

תואר ראשון ושני בהנדסת מכונות, בעשור האחרון כיהן כסמנכ”ל פיתוח עסקי בינלאומי של ברייטסורס אנרג’י. בעל נסיון רב בפעילות עסקית בינלאומית באנרגיה מתחדשת בארה”ב, סין, אירופה ועוד.

שי כהן - מנכ״ל ומייסד

תואר ראשון ושני בהנדסת מכונות מהטכניון. בעל ניסיון רב בפיתוח ותכנון מערכות אנרגיה. בעשור וחצי האחרון עסק בתחום האנרגיה. במהלך הקריירה כיהן בין היתר כמנכ”ל חברות תעשייתיות וסטרט- אפים.

יונה פוגל - סגן יו״ר

בעל תואר שני בפסיכולוגיה, התמחות בייעוץ ארגוני. סיים את שירותו הצבאי כפסיכולוג חיילי בדרגת רב-סרן. כיהן במשך 13 שנה כמנכ”ל קבוצת פז ויו”ד דירקטוריון חברות הבת שלה. לפני כן כיהן כחבר הנהלת בנק לאומי וראש החטיבה הבנקאית. כיום פוגל עוסק בין היתר במיזמים בינלאומיים בתחום האנרגיה.

גדי איזנקוט - יו״ר דירקטוריון

בעל תואר ראשון בהיסטוריה כללית מאוניברסיטת תל אביב, ותואר שני במדעי המדינה מאוניברסיטת חיפה. איזנקוט, הרמטכ”ל ה-21 כיהן בתפקיד בין השנים 2015-2019 סוף 2019 מונה לדירקטור בחברת צור שמיר אחזקות, והצטרף כעמית מחקר בכיר למכון למחקרי ביטחון לאומי. בינואר 2020 מונה לדירקטור בחברת וילאר.
